Saffron is a singer/musician/composer and audio-visual artist. She has worked as a performer and Singer/Songwriter for 25 years and has toured in the UK, the USA, New Zealand, Hong Kong and all over Europe. She creates 'Soundscapes' using 'found sounds' mixed with her own music.

Saffron also works in collaboration with other artists and musicians in performance and community arts projects..

In May 2007, Soundbench was launched. It is a unique, solar energy powered, interactive sound Installation at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, East Sussex. www.wildRye.info

"For most of my life I have had a strong dialogue with nature, alongside a concern for the welfare of the earth, albeit with a sense of the absurd and above all, humour. This attitude has taken me along many wonderful and weird paths. I am fortunate that much of my current work reflects my personal passions whether in a school or community setting or my own multi-media performances".

Saffron is working on a new album of songs,music and found sounds inspired by the Rye Bay & Romney Region. This album will be launched at the RX Wildlife & Culture Festival in May 2008.
